San Francisco, CA, February 3, 2009 – CocoaBella Chocolates is proud to announce its limited edition Valentine’s Day boxes, including heart pieces exclusively made for CocoaBella from three of the world’s finest, small-batch chocolate makers: Mary Chocolatier (Belgium), Thomas Haas (Canada), and Christopher Elbow Artisinal Chocolates (United States).

“We wanted to offer our customers something that would make that special someone feel that much more special on Valentine’s Day, so we decided to partner with three of our most popular chocolate makers,” says Michael Freeman, owner and founder of CocoaBella. “We have really created an exclusive box that has not been done anywhere before.”

Mary Chocolatier, the official chocolatier of the Belgium royal family, has created two heart-shaped pieces: (1) a fresh cream, dark ginger ganache heart covered in a dark chocolate shell and (2) a praline nougatine featuring a smooth ganache with crunchy chunks of hazelnut praline.

 “Since Valentine’s Day is only once a year and these are limited edition pieces, we wanted to create a one-of-a-kind piece that will leave CocoaBella customers with a lasting impression, so we really put our hearts into it – literally,” comments Christopher Elbow, who created a red heart with a raspberry infused caramel center.

“It’s exciting to be working with CocoaBella to offer its customers chocolates that truly define what Valentine’s Day is: friendship, love, and romance,” says Thomas Haas, whose heart shaped truffles include: (1) a dark chocolate heart infused with lychee and fresh roses, (2) a milk chocolate heart filled with a champagne ganache, (3) a white chocolate heart filled with passionfruit and Tahitian vanilla, and (4) a purple, fresh raspberry dark chocolate ganache.
